Gerry Grant has been
on the circuit for thirty years and in 1975 Roy Orbison had heard of Gerry and
finally they met. The venue was the Golden Garter, Wythenshaw. At Roy’s
request Gerry sang with only a guitar "Running Scared". Roy commented ‘I
don’t mind you copying me, as long as you do it as well as you have just
done’. What an accolade!
Gerry is still leaving audiences
spellbound with his effortless vocal range on hits such as ‘Crying’,
‘It’s Over’, ‘Running Scared’, ‘Pretty
Woman’, ‘You Got It’, ‘Only the Lonely’ etc.

Performances include
film premiere of ‘Girls Night Out’ starring Julie Walters and Kris
Kristofferson as well as numerous T.V. appearances including L.W.T.V. Mike
Aspel, BBC Pebble Mill and Stars-in-their-Eyes.
Gerry’s uncanny
resemblance both physically and vocally will ensure he stays at the top of the
